I propose that this becomes a thread where old salts who favour quality of answer over quantity of answer can post absolute useless bks until we find ourselves over the 1000 post threshold.

I've been posting for 18 years, but apparently I haven't quite got the hang of Pistonheads yet, so I need to defer to some young bloke who lives on his phone and so can handle the zeitgeist better...

I get why this is here, but question the dimensions of the hurdles employed!

Fully with you on this. I get what they were trying to achieve but I don't want to have to comment on a subject where I'm not adding anything useful to the conversation just so I can add a relevant post elsewhere. It seems likely to encourage the king of poster that just likes to post rubbish on every thread they see.
