PH has been part of my life for 20 years, and I’ve enjoyed it a lot, mostly. I’m deleting my account and will open a new one. So just wanted to say thank you for all the amazing learning, reading, wacky stuff like nazi bunkers and teaspoons and owners of insanely fantastic cars- expensive or cheap. I have loved this place. Time to delete and start afresh though.

Yes, I’m sure. But like many, I’ve spent many, many hours reading and enjoying and even with my ratio of time on PH to posts made I’d like to clean out. Thanks!

Considering you can't delete any quoted posts or your username on them I can't see the point! Although thinking about it I suppose by announcing it first does stop people thinking you've been banned for life.
