Is Pistonheads Unreasonably / Over Moderated

So my EVO car of the year thread got shut as a mod said it was quote ‘boring’.

A thread was opened to question if that was correct, that was closed without dialogue supposedly citing rule 3 a post annoying, upsetting or offensive which it very clearly wasn’t.

I’ve been on Pistonheads for 21 years, never known moderators to just randomly shut threads and post comments like boring.

Is this what Pistonheads has become?

If anything I'd say it can be undermoderated and all the better for it.

In some cases, moderation can be heavy handed and moderator bias is difficult to overcome.

However, I checked the thread you posted, and it was boring. Multiple people even called it boring when it was open.
