is there a way to search on the forum

HI guys

New to the forum and was wondering if there was an easy way to search for threads on here without having to scroll through every page.

Don't want to post a question that's already been done on here if I can find and read that thread and only if i don't find an answer to my question start a new post

i clicked the search at the top and that looked like it was just going to be a google type search
