McLaren mileage sensitivity thread - posts being deleted

My posts are being deleted from the mileage sensitivity thread. Any idea why this might be? Does anybody know who the moderator is?

You will have received an email explaining the reason for the post deleted (perhaps check your spam folder).

Having checked I can see it was because your post was deemed to be an advert and/or "what's it worth?", both of which are against the forum Rules of Posting

Oh - I didn't realise there were such limitations on freedom of speech on the forum. I will stick to this rule now I know about it.

Only one of the posts would have fallen foul of 17c. Why was my 2nd post on the McLaren forum removed, & then the topic I started locked?

The rules haven't changed in the 187 months you've been a member here. You were asked to agree to abide by them when you signed up.

The second post was removed because it was covering the same "what's it worth?" subject matter.

And finally the topic you started wasn't locked, it was moved to this Website Feedback forum which is the most appropriate place for it.

However, this topic will now be closed.
