When you do a search, and click on a thread, something is wrong in the parsing of the highlighted sections which is breaking the html tag sequence... one effect is that smileys don't appear..

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=9786&f=57&h=0&hw=horses+on+the+road

but if you knock out the &hw bit, it all works okay.

as in:

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=9786&f=57&h=0

While I'm here, for chrissakes, someone post a url for the original horse & hounds thread??? Can't find the bugger .. I'm putting a selection of classics into my favourites..

Another question please Ted,

No problem with accessing PH`s from work - however, I went to look the other night from home and it comes up with an error along the lines of "This domain is reserved for a Nisdram Customer"

Any suggestions? I have tried clearing the history/temp files, but still no luck.

I can access (slowly) via Pistonheads.net

Haz,

I suspect you may be using an old bookmark. You should accessing via www.pistonheads.com not .net

Try that and service should improve, then re-bookmark the gassing station.

Cheers,
JSG.

Could be a very old bookmark. Haven't been on Nildram since about February.

Not sure why .net is slow - it's pointing at the same server as .com.

I have tried typing it in directly, via the book mark - via a search engine on the net - still no luck!

I even cleared all the history out of temp. webpages!

Help!

Might be the domain server at your ISP never processed the update correctly. What ISP are you using?
