Some possible enhancements nicked from else where

Forgive me for I have been unfaithful recently. I've been visiting the www.blatchat.co.uk forum. Whilst this forum is no where near as professional looking as your Ted (grovel grovel) I have noticed they do have the following features which seem to work well:
1. they have a smilies menu, no need to type anything, you just click on the appropriate icon and it pastes the code into you text for you.
2. In the thread summary they have both the author and date/time the thread was started,
3. Similarly they have the name and date/time of the latest contributor to a thread in the summary,
4. You can be notified when a thread is added to even when you weren't the originator (very useful when you highjack someone elses thread
)
5. They have an icon of an a@se!
