how to do quotes

I seen to struggle to get my answers inside boxes when responding to others on here. I looked at the formatting and there doesn't seem to be anything there am I missing something?

Click the first square speech box ( brings up the quote ), the click under the last (quote) and type what you want. Simples

If you quote my post your original post and my response will then be in boxes but anything you add won't be
