How can I lock out mobile view?

I hate mobile view, I don't use it, it's unusable.

All I want is to have the classic PH skin, in desktop view. I don't care if it loads a few seconds slower, just let me use the view I want to for fks sake & stop forcing me into a st format that does not work!!!

Are the IT geeks dribbling idiots or something at PH, every "improvement" they attempt to make ends up making the site worse, more clumsy & less user friendly!!! It's not broken, stop trying to fix it ffs!!!!!!!

What doesn't work? I've been using GTI in mobile view for months.

It's works in the loosest sense.

It's a bloody hard to read, unusuable mess.

Wondering what I'll do with all the extra time I have because I certainly will not be using this mess.

How many threads do we need on this anyway? Having seen some of the responses I shudder to think how some people handle major issues in day to day life.

Just wondering - if you have a problem with your car, do you drop it at the garage and tell them it's broken, or do you actually explain what the symptoms are?

Just saying GTI is unusable doesn't help anyone. They won't be rolling back to the choice of skins, so the options are either.
1. Stomp around saying it's useless, but don't say why.
2. Tell them it's useless, but explain what you think needs fixing for it to be usable.

Not much to ask putting a desktop option in? Even the request desktop site option via iPhone won't bring back the original view.

You do wonder if anyone actually ever tests these "upgrades" before inflicting them on the userbase.... terrible updates yet again

They removed that option today.

Most good phone browsers come with an option to spoof a website into deliverying you the desktop version for this reason. Personally I use Firefox for Android which offers this, I know chrome for Android also does. No idea of iOS but I assume you can get good browsers for that too.
