With no other info either - see the first page and image below, recent posts don't seem to be caught up in the OP-ism.

I would guess it's been imported into the current forum software from some previous forum software with the posts being that old. Looks like the import wasn't quite set right!

Tangentially related - would it be possible to have threads highlight the OP when they reply, in a similar vein to how Haymarket staff have yellow backgrounds?

I'm guessing, but it would appear that some database updates that happened after the year 2000 somehow caused the thread to get corrupted.

Guessing as well, but agree with Al here. As the thread is from such a long time ago and isn't an ongoing issue, it won't be a top priority for the dev team to look at I'm afraid!
