Yes it is a stupid question but just want to clarify.
In general I don't post nsfw posts, but sometimes links get posted to threads where the site it links to may not be safe work, but is generally an ok site.

Example.
Post video in dash cam thread which the link is to Live Leak, which does have a lot of nsfw content, but the video link itself is safe for work, is this permitted?

I only ask as I have posted live leak links which are safe for work, but the site in general could easily lead you to nsfw content, but always warn that there is content which may show up as nsfw.

Is the case no links to websites where something may show up or
Warn people (like I do) that the site could lead to nsfw content?

I would advise you not to post any links to any websites that contain NSFW content.

NSFW work is very vague though - where I work (FS), I only look at BBC travel, BBC news, airline websites, FO travel advice and sites for visas. For some people, it's much broader.

Wouldn't it be better to say, NSTBVWYA - not safe to be viewed with your aunt?

It used to be enough to post a warning that a link was NSFW so people could view at their own discretion. What happened?

Far too many members not posting warnings in the past, and thus causing members browsing at work to get into serious trouble for having any form of NSFW content on their works computers etc.
In addition there are a lot of companies these days that will black list websites for having NSFW content.

So the new ruling is no new NSFW content on the site as from now.

A bit of both, if we feel that the offending content can easily removed then it will be, if however a thread contains too much NSFW content then it will probably removed completely.

Fair enough. Just wondered what had driven the change - that explains. Thanks for clarifying.
