Just posted in this thread:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/post.asp?h=0&am...

On the first line I typed "...Mrs.NCoT's. The sensible..."

but it has come out as:

"...Mrs.NCoT'she sensible..."

I have gone back and edited it but it still appears different. Not sure if it's something I've done but thought it worth mentioning...

Edited: Woah, it's doing it here too - hit F5 and you can see it update and then lose some characters silly

Hi NiceCupOfTea,

Thanks for the feedback! This is very bizarre, can I ask what operating system and browser you are using please?

Thanks!

Hi NiceCupOfTea,

Thanks for your feedback.

A bit of background: PistonHeads use Skimlinks on the forums which will turn some references to products into links to that products website. More information on Skimlinks can be easily found by Googling them.

In this case, there is something in your post that Skimlinks has recognised and is trying to turn into a link. It's then failing, because there is nothing in you post that is a link, and as a result the ". Th" part of your post is being lost. If you inspect the HTML of the page you can see that "Mrs.NCoT's" is wrapped in a span tag with the class: "skimlinks-unlinked". A bit weird, but I haven't seen it do this before so I assume it's a one off. If you choose, you can edit your post to "Mrs NCoT" and you'll notice that it displays normally.

Thanks,
Dom
