Changing Username

Mornin' Ted,

I've tried to change my username from ap_smith to Smiffy, but it says "profile updated" and then completely ignores the new username?

I've tried logging out and then logging back in as Smiffy and I get the "oops" message.

Just did a deed-poll name change too - worked fine for me.

Change name, click update, log out, log in, and Ted's your uncle.

Still doesn't work.
I changed my username to 'Andrew' which it said was successfull.
I logged out and then tried to logon back on with 'Andrew' and got the Ooops message.
Logged back on with old username OK.

OK Ted, slightly different problem, but I try to change my name and it says the name is taken, but then I search the members and no one exists with that name....

I am bored with Graham and Rosie and want to be MonkeyBoy or MB or at least GrahamI
