Using an Ipad

Why has reading PH on an IPad become virtually impossible. The pages don't respond to pinch zoom in real time, scrolling up and down is the same and then the page keeps re-opening with the black surround minimised (apologies not a very technical description ). I use an IPad Mk.1 if that's any help.

To be fair, the original iPad is very limited in terms of memory and has problems with a lot of sites these days.

Pinch to zoom is nothing to do with the site you're using, its internal to the iPad so if that's not working you may have other issues too.
