The What's New? link at the top of the gassing screen has suddenly started going back to Friday 9th August today. Have you changed anything?

No! it's set to always look for newer versions and hasn't been changed. It just started doing it today (and I'm sure it was working OK first thing this morning)

I took the link directly from the Link's property. My favourite link was pointing to the .net version which might explain it.

Glad it's not just me.

Thanks for your help guys.

Nowt's changed there at my end that I know of. I noticed that freeserve caches pages badly the other day.

I go direct to www.pistonheads.com/gassing/whatsnew.asp?h=0 to read the Gassing Station and the "last visited" flag never gets updated unless I go to the home page and then browse through to Gassing. Its been like this for weeks (months even?)

This is actually quite useful as it means I can choose when to "mark" the point at which I've read up to.
However, I'm sure it's not what Ted intended.

Well observed. It's visiting the Gassing Station home page that resets the cookie.

Is there a time limit for the Cookie to reset i.e. if I go to the Gassing Station home page, then come back to what's new, the time stamp is still the same. But if I then go away and look at different sites and some time later come back, it appears to have done its job.

It's something like 20 minutes before it decides to reset itself.
