S-skim resources I can gather is the hyperlinks I can't see

all the rest I assume are ads that are being blocked by adblock

There are a lot of background running tasks for the system to do various things, mainly based around ads - so if any of them are causing slowness (or more appropriately the ability to not use the page) we will have a look into them.

It was getting really slow - I've played with Adblock and that's got the speed back to normal again - sorry
