If you do a search for the numbers in a search engine of your choice, you'll find they appear in multiple places that allow people to post content.

I really do wish they'd be allowed to post in NPE though. That would really really cause utter mayhem especially if they could post in threads.

I find it odd that I can’t post sometimes if I have used a particular word or phrase, yet this st happens week in week out.

Silly idea for the mods. Would it be worthwhile implementing a visible flag on a post to show that it's already been reported? That way people would know it's been reported and wouldn't raise the same report multiple times. Just a thought.

The anti flooding system prevents you from posting more frequently than one post per minute. If you look at the next time they come on you should see....

etc etc.

Pistonheads doesn't appear to prevent a new user from being created and creating posts immediately. It's only after they've been reported that their account is locked by the mods at which point they rinse and repeat the user creation and post creation process.

They've almost certainly got a trained bot which cycles through a number of websites.

That would probably be helpful, but too many reports of the same post is not really a major issue. Maybe once reported a post to say ‘Reported’ would help stop people spending time unnecessarily reporting the same thing.

I tried to do that but “anit-flood” kicks in if I report first and then go back to the thread and type reported - same the other way too - typing reported in the thread and then reporting it the “anti flood” kicks in

So I stopped doing both - now I just report and get on with reading other posts
