As per my other post,
I’m very close to buying a 2015 huracan, 7k miles and full lambo, 2 owner car.
Dealer seems very decent and answers any questions etc. but of course yes they are selling me a car.

Anyways,
I’m trying to get an idea of option costs for this car.
I will post a link so that people can have a look at the car and here are the options listed :

The factory options fitted to our vehicle are as follows:

- CCB with red-painted brake calipers
- Bluetooth preparation (hands-free profile)
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Anti-theft system
- Electric and heated seats
- Navigation System
- Elegante interior (bicolour in leather)
- Roof lining and A-pillars in Alcantara for Full leather and Elegante interiors
- Optional stitching for Elegante (Terra Semele or Brown)
- Branding Package
- Suspension lifting system and magneto-rheologic suspension

Also,
Does not have reversing camera.
Does anybody know if a decent aftermarket alternative reversing camera that I can have installed and if so who would fit such an item?

Thanks in advance. 👍

Thanks 70proof,
Helpful information.

I was a bit perplexed over the internal coloir as when I googled it I had 2 results back, I’ve since got to the bottom of it and it seems that it is Nero Helene/terre semelle bi colour with some alcantara. Bit of a mustard colour but something different I suppose.

Yes it has parking sensors.

I’d be keen to get an aftermarket reverse camera if such a thing can be fitted on a huracan.
Is there such thing as a wireless option?

Our car is fitted with a factory standard exhaust system.

A non-factory sports exhaust is available for the 580-2 variant “Accessori Originali Sports Exhaust system” however to our knowledge a factory ‘sports exhaust’ is not an option which was offered for this 4WD model.

In my humble opinion any aftermarket exhaust is not required for this model as the exhaust note is perfect as it is.

Thanks all,

Will be sure to look at reverse camera options as I’m a bit of a wimp with these things.
Although my Calis reverse camera is ok. The sensors are manic, they scare the hell out of me every time I use the car. Like loud and exciting beeping that is super sensitive.

The dealership are detailing and bringing the car to me tomorrow in a covered transporter. On the basis that if I like it I do the deal and if I don’t then I only lose the delivery cost.
I’m excited as ever, even at the grand old age of 61.
My rationale for this impulsive purchase is that you don’t see too many 70y olds in these type of cars and who knows what’s around the corner.

I’m guessing you can tell I’m justifying this to myself😂

My next thing will be getting a decent outdoor car cover.
I’m lucky enough to have a large driveway and the gates lock automatically so I feel it’s secure but il be wanting to keep it protected from the elements. IMHO the sun is the worse enemy, seems to age a car more than anything.
I have a Halfords one on my Cali and it’s been pretty good so maybe il use this again. Not worried about a snug fit as long as it does the job.

Lots of questions I know but do the lambo batteries last better than the Ferraris, I know the Ferrari ones seem to die really quickly and seem to need to be on a ctek most of the time?

I’ll post some pics up in the newbie section if it all goes through.

Thanks both,
I’ve been fretting about the colour combo as I have not seen it in the flesh. Having now spoken with others I’m coming to the conclusion it’s a decent colour.
I’ve always been drawn towards tan interiors, my one and only ever brand new car was a Boxster s with black over Luxor beige and I loved it.
I e had an old Porsche 996 which was silver over red.
My current Ferrari Cali (will be going as px against this) is a beautiful Rosso Fiorano over cuio interior and it looks very nice.

Would have loved a spyder but a decent miles and decent spec example was a bit out of reach and perhaps it will be my next move if all goes well with this one.

Sorry, I’m rambling aren’t I……. I’ll get my coat.

I must say I’m feeling very pleased with the positive feedback re the colour. I just felt a bit unsure but I’m sure it will look good in the flesh.
The black is a metallic, again I’d have liked a solid black but my car loves outdoors on the drive mostly under cover but solid black is a beast to clean.

I’d have loved an out there exterior colour but didn’t have the gonads for it. Also I’d probably love it to bits and the tire after a short while.

I’ll follow up with some pics if I seal the deal, which could be in just a few hours.

Is there a place for pics in here or am I in that place already ?

It’s on its way to me as I type, on the basis that I can drive it and if I don’t want it I can shake hands and no hard feelings.

I’m kind of feeling guilty at such an extravagant spend on a car that I want but don’t need.
I’ve got through so many cars and I’ll miss my Cali V8 but this is a step up from this and hopefully will be the best car I’ve owned.

I’ve had seven Porsches, a Mercedes a purple Audi tt and BMWs and the Cali V8. All of those over several years of course and only one at a time ? but I’ve been yearning for either a 458 or a huracan. I couldn’t find a 458 that seemed such a great deal unless I was prepared to go higher miles and lots of owners, which I know isn’t a big deal for many but this one just took my eye having just two owners 8 main dealer services and only 7.5k miles.

I’m looking out of the window for a covered transporter as I type. (Think big kid excited aged 61)

Trevor that’s exactly right.
To be honest I had to top up some of the difference with a bit of finance which is manageable and hopefully I’ll pay off early.

Juggling a lot of balls atm with my son’s horse and a recent used horsebox but that’s the best money I e ever spent just to see him do his stuff with his showjumping.
I’m proud of how hard he works.

I love the 488s lovely lines and a bit more modern than the 458. I’d like to see a pic of that one if and when you’re able.
What part of the country are you in. I’m in Essex (east London borders) some decent roads for the occasional blast around the lanes here. Not sure I’d be so comfortable buying this if I was still living in London.

Hoofy,

Yes delivered in a covered transporter at my cost.
I’ve made it clear I’m prepared to say no.
They haven’t seen my px either so there’s a bit of risk either way.

I’ve seen loads of pics, service stuff and a recent healthcheck at lambo London and unless somebody did 7.5k miles on the track and no other driving I’m optimistic it will be ok.

In short, I’m an optimist smile

That’s a lovely bit of kit there.

Did the salmon the huracan, drives and sounds lovely, for a while I thought I was in an aeroplane with all of those switches and buttons.

Feels planted with the 4 w drive.

Colour was lovely.

One minor niggle. Drivers seat bolster has some wear and marked. But they deducted 250 quid and said if it’s any more than this they will pay it. So now I’ll need somebody who can do a bit of seat colour magic. May need colonising too but other than this the car is pretty spotless.
Even had the original sales receipt which is good to have.

I’m happy

Yes, these people are very good. Answer any question fully and no waffling.

Apparently the car was my Father’s Day present my son says. Not that he paid for it but still.

The paper, well that was my note to father Christmas and he turned up early.

OK I’m talking rubbish, it was the paper that was in the footwell in the lambo and I took it out and rolled it up and put it there whilst I was looking at the car.

You didn’t believe the Father Christmas story anyway did you. smile

I have one more question, well at least for now.
On the huracan the bonnet and wings have ppf. I’m pleased about that but wondered if this was standard on this car from factory if if it may have been aftermarket. Anybody know this?

Thanks

It’s not on invoice but it’s got it to the wings, mirrors and bonnet so I’ll leave well alone.
At least the entire bonnet. Had it on half a bonnet on a black car and i didn’t like the line.

Not so many extras on this car but the fundamental boxes ticked.

Would have liked an upgraded sound system but not a big deal. Might look into something better later.

Ok, the questions keep coming and I apologise for this, I don’t want to wear out my welcome.

I’ve recently sold my Cali v8. It pretty much had to be on a trickle charge 90 percent of the time or it would die and then need recharging.

I’m assuming the 2015 huracan won’t require such pandering or are they the same in this respect?

If so, where does one plug such a thing in. The Ferrari was in the boot and the c tec went straight into a little socket?

If the battery should die at any time, how do I recharge, is it simple as just clamping on a charger like any other car?

Thanks all and again thanks for the positive feedback re the car, drove it today in some heavy showers and felt fully confident. The car felt planted.

Yep that’s my old baby.
Good clean car too and I can tell you they don’t mark em up too much.

They could add some more info to that ad.
It’s Rossi Fiorano paint which is a special colour.
Has an aftermarket hi fi with car play 7k
Last 6 years service at Meridian Modena with all works invoices. Pretty spotless tbh and a proper head turner.
