Driving down the M5 in Devon this afternoon in my Huracan and sustained a fairly big chip to the windscreen .
Anyone else had the same problem , and if so where did you take the car for the screen to be replaced ?

Is the total damage larger than a £2 coin?

No nothing like as big, but my concern is that the screen may shatter at speed .

It won't. It's laminated. A sandwich construction of two layers of glass with a Poly Vinyl Butyral interlayer.

Just wondering if it is in fact repairable by a windscreen specialist ?

If smaller than a £2 I would say yes, probably. Can you post an image of the damage?

Hi. I had some large ish stone chips after doing the NC500. Not big enough to replace the windscreen though but felt they were likely to grow. I called my local Lambo dealer and got a recommendation for a windscreen chip repairer (and did some google research on ratings etc) and got a guy to come out and fix it with resin. Cost £70 and took 30 mins. I’m in the south east so no point recommending him to you unless you are there too.
