Sounds like you do need to tick another box, I had one and I would say test drive it to see if you like the e gear box, I can tell you the V10 howl is as good as it gets.

Engine apart, they're just not that great to drive - an R8 or F430 are much better. BUT, it's your choice and if you want one then JFDI! Paddleshift cab wouldn't be my choice, a manual coupe more enjoyable - but then I'm looking at it from the PoV of someone who loves to thrash an empty b-road and that's not what everyone wants out of a car. Top down at 7/10ths enjoying that brilliant engine... well yeah, it's not difficult to see the appeal!

I'd expect at "72 and on the way out" the biggest risk would be slipping a disc getting in and out
