Hi, I owned a couple of earlier 610-4’s a coupe and a Spyder. Whilst having a service done in Edinburgh I had a loan of a Peformante for a couple of days. Dynamically it felt quite a bit sharper and the aero did seem to benefit the grip and handling. However, the biggest difference was exhaust note, especially at motorway speeds. It’s a bit marmite, I liked it but my other half said she couldn’t live with it on a longer journey. So I guess it depends on how you plan to use it. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Did you feel the performante added much in terms of driving dynamics?
Yes definitely different cars and the variance from a GT3 to an RS variant is how I remember describing how it felt at the time I changed. I absolutely loved (and still love) the 610. The Perf is much more raw and a more uncompromising chassis. I like extreme versions of cars even for long journeys (had a 997.2 RS a while back) but others may prefer something less hardcore. The sound is much more extreme and I think the LDS is objectively better than the launch version that my 610 was. You can’t tell it’s there in the Perf ie more natural. But that may have been something post launch 610s had too. Corsa ratio is locked in the Perf. Gassing Station | Gallardo/Huracan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
