Just collected my first Lambo

After 8 months of looking I have just picked up my first lambo. 200 miles so far and loving it! A huge step up from my 991.2 gt3

I have a question regarding Apple car play which the car has. Is it possible to minimise the screen so that you can see the rev counter etc at the same time as having waze running?

Congrats. Looks amazing in that colour! I had a 991.1 GT3 prior to my first Lambo so not a dissimilar path to you.

On apple play, as far as I’m aware no you can’t display both at the same time unfortunately. The sound works in the background though (e.g. TomTom or Waze app) but the display for Apple Play is binary (unlike the car’s onboard nav etc). I tried to do the same since I got my Perf in January and have failed!

Congratulations! I also picked up my first Lamborghini last week. The attention takes some getting used to , but loving the car and the noise!

Only problem is I cant find a good solution for mounting my iphone. Any good ideas out there?

I use a Brodit mount. Specifically designed for car models and they do a Huracan RHD one. It clips on precisely to the central tunnel - no sticking/marks. You can then put any phone mount on top of that. I’ll post a pic when I get a chance to take one.

Sounds good. How do you fix your phone to the mount? Can you use a magnet phone case? Also can you see the screen in your peripheral vision as I use it for looking out for the police on waze?

Also, daft question but how do you open the engine cover? I have found the switch but it doesn't seem to work?

Coupes certainly haven't dropped in the 12 months I have been watching, not like for like anyway. I think the more desirable colours such as the greens, oranges & yellows don't hang around as long as the blacks & whites and they are being pushed up a little. Of course as times goes on, they get older and have more miles there will always be a lower delta and there has been the odd quick sale higher mile black/white model appear.

I think the high price of the STO, the pandemic and the realisation they are undervalued (imo) has all contributed.
