Hi,

I have a couple of newbie Huracan questions. I was hoping someone here could help me:

A. Does the exhaust crackle & pop in all drive modes (Strada, Sport, Corsa)?

B. What are the differences between Strada, Sport, Corsa (i searched on YouTube, and I was surprised not to see a comparison video)?

C. What is the servicing schedule and what needs to be done at each service. I'm looking at a 2017 Huracan so I want to make sure the right work has been carried out.

D. Any other advice to a newbie looking to get into a Huracan (other than driving a few of them)?

A: in strada it is quietish, no pops and bang. Pops and bangs in both other modes.

B: Strada, is quiet, slow gear changes suits driving it in auto or pottering down the motorway. Sport, keeps the auto gear changes when you hit the red line. More noise, more aggressive gears, firmer ride. Corsa, no auto change up with gears on red line. Gears give a thump in the back on change up, noise to me always seems the same as sport and ride is much firmer.

C: Can’t really tell you to be honest, I just take it in when it says to.

D: you’ll love it. Check under front bumper for scrape marks and windscreen for big stone chips. The cars are generally bullet proof. Go and buy one.

It needs the lifting system on the front - I’ve struggled to get out of most garage forecourts without the lifter, especially when pulling onto a road with a deep gutter.

Other than that mine hasn’t missed a beat, very reliable and (almost) everyday supercar.

Great, thank you.

Are the yellow brake callipers more expensive than the red ones? Or are any colours more expensive than others?

Sorry, this might sound daft, but I'm coming from a Porsche background, where the usual yellow callipers are carbon ceramics and cost £8k more than the standard steel (red) breaks.

All the same price unless you order a custom colour (not red, yellow, green, blue) - Black/silver might be cheaper/stock.

Ok great, thanks.

Can anyone recommend a specialist for changing the colour of the callipers... i.e - one that will also supply and fit OEM stickers on them correctly after a professional colour change?

When I ordered my new LP-580-2 back in 2017 I wanted the caliper colour to match my ad personum interior stitching colour, however factory wouldnt do it. My supplying dealer did however and got a perfect colour match and even got the Lamborghini logo stencil painted back on the calipers. I dont know who they used though, but for sure plenty of companies out there can do it.

Not sure where you are based but these guys were very good, based in East London

https://pro-calipers.co.uk/

They completed 2 sets for me and a friend, 1 Porchse, 1 Ferrari. No complaints or issues at all
