Morning all,

Does anybody have the figures for a the ground clearance on a Performante with / without lift?

I am finding contrasting numbers for the without lift figure at 100mm and 135mm.

Thanks.

from the owner's hand book,
Ground clearance, front: 130mm +/-3mm
Ground clearance, rear: 127mm +/-3mm
Front end lifting: additional +50mm

I don’t know the numbers but I know my dealer said he would not sell me one without it and so far I’ve been in many a position where it is required.

Thanks all, I am coming from an R8 V10 Plus, which doesn't have lift but is naturally a bit higher.

Does anyone know this car: -

Wow that is very expensive considering the high mileage.

Yep, likewise.

I need my lift pretty much every time I use the car.

I couldn't live in London without it, I'd get about 20 metres before scuffing the front.

The good thing about the Performante is they have a lower plastic lip spoiler that runs along the entire bottom edge of the front bumper. This will prevent the front edge of the bumper getting damaged.

When I had my Perf I went over a nasty dip, bottomed out pretty bad and the only thing that got the damage was the plastic spoiler piece. Best part is it's 3 piece so if one section gets damaged it's easy and cheap to replace.

Same thing happened to me not long after buying mine, it makes a horrific sound and you are left wondering what damage you have done to the carbon on the front...... I was relieved to discover only damage was a scuff on the rubbery plastic section underneath.
