Does anyone know anything about the red HP for sale at the Leven Car Company?
I’m just wondering as to why they’ve had this car since July and it hasn’t sold.

TIA

Don’t know the car, but know the dealership well.
As good as you’ll get - everyone I know has been wel looked after there.
My guess is that Lambo Edinburgh are close competition, (also good at looking after customers) and have sold a few over the period to meet local demand.

I’ve bought and sold a few cars with Leven and also recommended them to a friend who was looking at a Porsche Turbo. They did a deal and had it delivered to him the same day.., in London!

Footsoldier - thanks for the reply and it’s good to know that they are a reputable company to deal with.

Mileage is slightly high and red/yellow combo isn't the most appealing spec for a Lambo.

Bucket seats are not that sought after and often result in the car being offered at a lower price, they look absolutely amazing but they are horrible to sit on (I’ve had a HP with both) and the colour is nice but isn’t that desirable, lastly for a HP the miles are ‘high’ as ridiculous as that may seem for a car with under 7,000 miles.

Thanks for everyone’s comments so far.

Today I’ve put a deposit down on this car and should get it sometime over Christmas.

The first time I saw a pic of this car, the colour combination just appealed to me in a way that none of the other cars currently being advertised has.
The miles should even themselves out as I only do about 1k per year.
I know that there are mixed reactions to the bucket seats, but I love them, find them very comfortable and looks wise think they really suite the image of the car.

Congratulations, i found the noise on the 18 car I had was actually better than the 2019 car, i'm not the only one who has noticed this, something changed in the 2019 models....... you will get lots of pops, bangs and crackles, incredible car, you'll love it.

I hope your right; the aural aspect of this car is important to me.
Something similar has happened to the gen 2 R8. My 2018 car didn't have the same amount of cracks and pops as earlier 2016/17 cars. Audi were installing new ecu firmware when the car was in for a service. Many owners not happy. Apparently once its been done its irreversible.
The same has happened on the 458.
It's as though the manufacturers are changing the engine maps to meet the latest emission regs.

Or maybe removing the ‘special’ emission control software

I like the buckets as well and find them comfortable,I amazed that many would buy without the buckets? Be interested to know the split on this

Taller drivers don’t fit with buckets so I can’t, even if I wanted to.

I had the exact opposite, with comforts my head was brushing the roof as they were too high, with buckets no issue (though not much back support in the thinner seat).

Having tried both types of seat, I found the buckets sit you lower in the car than the comfort seats.

There currently seems to be more cars advertised with the buckets than comfort seats so it would seem that the bucket seats were the more popular option when these cars were purchased new.

It has been claimed in other PH posts that dealers bid £7-8k less for a car with buckets, as they take longer to sell, due to more people wanting the comfort seats, which kind of conflicts with the sentence above.

Which is why there’s more of those for sale.. ;-)

Unless you’re a certain height/shape the buckets are hideously uncomfortable or immediately painful in my case. So I would advise trying both before you buy.
