Rear wing issue, doesn't activate, stopped working

Hi chaps,

I have a 2007 Gallardo Spyder and the rear wing has stopped activating. I have a fault on the dash telling me of such and the local dealer (Birmingham) have said they will need a large sum of money to strip it to investigate.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so can you share your knowledge?
