First world problems! DIY phone holder...

I dont like sticking holders / satnavs to the right of my wheel, I naturally prefer to look to the left. Unfortunately in a gallardo, sticking space is limited...

So, bit of lathe work later...






Key to pull it out with (does not go all the way through though to maintain the suction seal.




Felt tape to allow for a snug but safe fit




Vent removed.




Slots securely and snugly into the vent hole.




Fits TomTom mounts perfectly.




Generic cheap phone holder to test with.




Fits perfectly.




Realized I couldn't take a picture of my phone while it was in the holder.. so old phone to the rescue for demonstration purposes.
