My car is a 2015 Huracan and the only part of the car that I find a little ugly is the plastic rear diffuser but the cost do the whole car is very high. I was wondering if anyone had just put a carbon rear diffuser on the car and how it looked? I may look at doing the engine cover too.

It is grigio grey with black forged wheels so I am thinking it should blend quite well. What does the wise world of PH think?

I replaced the OEM diffuser on my 430 with a CF one. Saved 13kg so worth it in my book. Car is wrapped atm but it is Grigio Silverstone underneath (metallic grey) with black wheels and the diffuser looked great on it.

That does look fantastic, I guess I was worried that with no carbon on the rest of the car it might look like an afterthought but clearly not. Love the plate too.

13kg? the 430 diffusor is made out of plastic and isn't really that big anyway. I can't really see how a cf one would save anything like that much weight I have to admit...

You’re right. It’s 7 kg lighter. My bad. The original is not plastic though, that wouldn’t last long. It’s a glass fibre composite.

Plastic with added silicon to strengthen.

Gotta love how some manufacturers spin GRP as some high tech composite material.

To be fair you could also say that’s what CFRP is. Plastic strengthened with a composite.
