Huracan start up

Just bought a 2015 LP610-4. Can’t wait to pick it up. One question I can’t seem to find the answer to is can the car be started in either sport mode or Corsa mode to make the start up sound nicer/louder?

I would have thought you could have the ignition on and change the mode before starting the car, is this correct and does it make a difference?

Cold start just opens the exhaust valves. You have no choice in the matter, Sounds awesome but not sure my neighbours think the same way at 6Am on Sunday morning

On the V10 there is an awesome auto cold start feature.... Exhaust valves fully open and overrevs for about 1 minute.... Mode is irrelevant

One of the joys of ownership, will have you changing to sport mode as soon as you moving

You are correct. Default start mode is strada. To avoid this turn on ignition without foot on brake and select Sport or Corsa on steering wheel, then press start button. To be honest they all sound great on start up...it’s more about where they settle at.

I thought there must be a way of doing it. I’ll have a play when I pick it up now, thanks.

The loud start up from cold is more to do with air being introduced into the cats for faster warm ups rather than the valves being opened
