Lp560 couple of issues
Discussion
My search for lp 560 spydrr continues
Found a potential but has a few issues
It’s 2009 model
First, the rear spoiler seems a little loose- is this normal or should it be tight
Second, on cold start the fan in driver side front bumper come on, never heard of this before ,
Third, it’s only done 11k but ther is some lip on the disc , is this sign of track
Use. ??
On cold start the loud exhaust note only lasted few moments, on others it last way longer
As this is ten years old now, does it need ten year service ? Ie does shocks need replacing, air bags, etc

I would stay away. Get a Spyder that is perfect from the start.

The body work is immaculate, apart from those issues. But the fan coming on on cold start is worrying.
I did view a lp560 Spyder at Lamborghini pangbourne but it me put off as there were holes on the front bumper which made it look
Ugly and can’t be covered with a number plate, also there was poor paint work repair On the rear bumper.

Thank you for mentioning my car but if i'm not wrong have spoken before with Ash and if i remember correctly we didn't agree on the price?!Maybe i'm wrong but had few contacts from the forum... Very small chances to find cheap and good Lambo and be aware that cheap in this supercar world will cost you thousands down the road! Yes it's a buyers market but who has a good car won't just give it awayAndrew (todea20) here on the forums has a beautiful grey spyder for sale new clutch and all sevices done. Getting a good deal is always important however with all high performance cars there comes a point where you may think you save £3k or so but the cost of the parts and labour to replace in the near future amounts to close to double.
That is not to include the disappointment of ownership in servicing the car to fix issues as they occur compared to buying one that is absolutley brilliant condition from day one.
Summer is fast approaching and good cars will sell first.

Hi toade, is this the gallardo that had purple wrap ?
The repairs/wear and tear is no issue for me, I work for vag group so parts etc can be obtained at discounted rate, my main concern is to buy one that is in immaculate condition that has had no body damage or shabby paint work done to it.

Yes,that's the one.I've spent 8k on the last major service making sure he;s in top condition.Next service is at the end of the year and will cost the new owner 1k

If you like the car why not do a PPI and for a relatively small sum it will either confirm your doubts or give you peace of mind on a sorted car. In any PPI i have had done in the past it is amazing the sort of things a specialist would identify and assess which I wouldnt have ever looked for.
