Manual Gallardo
Discussion
This thread has a pretty good list of at least the Gallardo specials with indications of those that are known to be manual.
And yes, manual gearbox was available in the LP series.

So pretty rare according to that list!
Any feedback about what the manual gearbox/clutch in the LP series is like to drive.
My LP550-2 manual has a really slick gearbox. No issues with cold performance as most of the earlier italian versions - clicks into every gear from first pull away. And yes, the 'clack' going into each gate slot is a very satisfying addition to the experience. Clutch is light and linear. The only thing I might miss is the auto blips on the down-shift, but then I can do that myself with a bit of heel-and-toe. The quest for perfecting the technique keeps relationship fresh and exciting... Any feedback about what the manual gearbox/clutch in the LP series is like to drive.
I’ve got a gen 1 Superleggera manual, LHD and one of 10 according to what the factory told me.
It’s an old school car. Gearbox very “tactile” in that it makes a lovely clack through the gate and you can’t rush changes, making you feel quite connected to the process of changing gears both up and down the box.
The ceramics have way too much bite at the top of the pedal though and heel and toe is a clumsy affair especially 3rd to 2nd but 4th to 3rd very simple.
Must drive it more this year!

Folks... I've been considering one of these (I have a Huracan Spyder) and came across this...

Anyone know any history / is it the right spec / what should I be asking / ...? Any assistance would be greatly received.

It's been for sale for a while at the same price. The interior has a fair bit of yellow in it, not to everyones taste but it does brighten it up a bit.
I did consider it for a while, but have held off buying until the early Summer to see where the market goes.
You may get a deal on it, dependent upon how much they want to move it on...

I have had a Gallardo Spyder Manual for over 2.5 years now and I absolutely love the manual gear box. I find it more engaging and fulfilling than paddle shifts.
It's a shame the Huracan is not available with a manual box option. This one's probably going to be a keeper because it's the last manual Lambo.
