LP560-4 Replacing Rear Fog Light bulb
Discussion
Hi everyone - just had the warning light on the dash saying the rear fog light has blown. Is this easy to replace, or does it need to go to a garage?. I would much rather just do it myself if it is relatively simple. Has anyone done this in the past? or perhaps have instructions on how to do it? any assistance would be most welcome.
cheers.
cheers.
Mine is bonded into the rear bumper which needs removing to get to it. Having said that, I had the warning after replacing said rear bumper once and it turned out to be the connector needed cleaning and re-joining. The fog-light is LED so unlikely that it has failed... unlikely but not impossible.
Hi, thanks for your response
I looked in the manual and it says the rear fog light bulb is a P21W - doesn't say its an LED bulb - having said that it seems the rear fog light is actually on the rear bumper as you said... is there an easy way to reset the warning indicator on the dash? its really annoying! haha!

Hi. the fog light is a bit of a pain to change. There is one bulb, just a simple single filament inside the fog light housing. They tend to blow and melt the contacts slightly, but you can just clean the contacts when replacing the bulb. The problem is the holder doesn't really come out of the light with the assembly inside the bumper, you really need the car raised as it is quite hard to get to.
