I am looking for an indoor car cover for my Gallardo Sypder. She is kept in a garage but I want a cover to keep the dust off between washes. I would welcome suggestions from anyone if they have used one which they felt was particularly good.

There are few OEM indoor covers for sale on Ebay at the moment. £250 will get you one.

I find the indoor OEM one to be just fine.

Specialisedcarcovers make really lovely fitted covers.

Thanks for the replies so far. Most pictures on eBay of the OEM one just show a box or it bundled in a bag.

If someone could send a pic of their P&J in the OEM cover and Ferruccio send one of his in the specialisedcarcovers one for comparison it would be appreciated.

Also what type of material is the OEM one? Is it "fluffy microfibre like the specialisedcarcovers one?

Have a look at the specialisedcarcovers website.

If you use a fluffy cover on a spider as I do you will need to put a liner over the roof before the cover to avoid the nap left behind.

The OEM SL one I have is not fluffy inside. It's a Lycra, cotton type affair. Very light and thin which makes it easier to put on and off. And it doesn't leave fluff all over the roof. They are the best type of indoor covers in my view.

Agree, lycra/cotton OE indoor cover is just fine, not fluffy, but keeps the dust off ok, rolls up into a little bag. Pretty sure I only paid HRO £180.

I may be looking to sell my Spyder soon. Will sell the OEM indoor cover separately when I do.

I use several of the Richbrook indoor covers on my various Ferrari and Porsche.

http://www.richbrook.co.uk/super-soft-super-stretc...

They are made of a soft and stretchy Lycra which fits very snugly like in the pictures on their website. They come with a smart black zip-up bag.

At £99 they are great value.

If you haven't already bought a cover, a friend has bought from Coverzone in the past, decent quality. From what I can see the Kalahari would suit but not as cheap as others mentioned here.

Hi- I have a OEM Gallardo / LP560 cover in its original bag and tags, never been used. I sold my LP560-4 Spyder last year and still have the cover. PM me. 200 pounds

Hahaha that's brilliant., very clever Ok, been used once for 6 minutes while taking photos. Otherwise never been used, didn't feel the need to use a car cover in South Kensington in the summer Delboy. Thanks to RamboLambo for pointing that out. Would love to meet you (note to Rambo- being sarcastic, I really wouldn't)

Thanks polar8 but I just bought one. A few days earlier and I would have taken it off your hands (for a slight discount see as you used it out doors). laugh
