4 Owner Huracan?
Discussion
As title suggests it's a bit off putting. Does anyone have any info about this car or the dealer please? Happy to receive pm if you prefer, many thanks.

Weekend special price is tempting but I'm guessing there must be a reason for it.

Lots of supercars have multiple owners. Rarely do you find a 1 owner car after 1 year.
Must admit it was only thing putting me off that car but you have to buy on condition and service history.
I would want a good/long test drive in it just in case there are small niggly things like rattles etc that previous owners couldn't live with and a printout of any warranty work undertaken by Lamborghini for peace of mind
If it looks good and drives good with all the supporting paperwork I guess you have to overlook the number of owners on the V5.
Price has come down a fair bit as it has sat around for a long time now

I bought my first Lambo from an authorised dealership and my second from an independent. Both cars proved to be reliable and the ownership experience was unaffected by that choice. I purchased on the cars condition plus some research on the independent, hence my question really. To be honest I really don't buy into the authorised is best argument and past experience with a Ferrari dealership tells me they don't always know best or treat your car as they should. Caveat emptor and all that.

I do agree when comparing to a reputable indie with a good reputation, but I have never heard of this company and their location is not the most encouraging thing.Craig at Lamborghini Pangbourne is exceptional so there are some good main agents out there too.
Exactly really. The indie I bought from was unknown to me but after asking around they came highly recommended including my contacts at the Lambo dealership. Same situation now I don't know Shaks cars and it would be easy to fall into false assumptions but it may be they are actually very good. Hoping for some feedback from users.
I must admit four owners would put me off unless the price was seriously very good. I bought my LP570-SL last year from Lambo Manchester and I was a bit concerned it had 3 owners on a 2012 car.
The dealer isn't in Bradford, they're based in the centre of Huddersfield. I've not dealt with them but they been around for while and seem to have grown the business over the years. However, the value of their cars has taken a big jump over the last couple of years since they moved to purpose built premises. The old site seemed to have a number of R8s and Bentleys rather than Lambo and Ferrari etc.
I personally would prefer to purchase from an authorised dealer. But if the price is extremely good, it's got a full history, confirmed no accident damage and it has an extended Lambo warranty - then why not. The only sticking point is that it might take a little bit more time to move on when it comes to selling it.
Given the time of year they may also want to liquidate some of their more expensive fair weather stock. So some hard bargaining may deliver a really good result. Worst case - hang on to it a while and enjoy driving it.

Thanks for the info. It was the impression that I had that they have grown and gone upmarket quickly. Thanks for the input everyone. I'm tempted to make the journey after a phone call. If anyone out there has dealt directly I would appreciate some feedback.
Good luck - I hope that the car stacks up and you get a cracking deal. If you do, I'm damn sure you'll enjoy it. I really look forward to early morning blasts in mine. Even if the weather is poo, just looking at them is nice as well. :-)Edited by GameOverMan! on Friday 9th September 20:13
If you go in with your eyes open, don't believe anything they tell you and do your due diligence then you'll be fine. These things aren't as fragile as they used to be, it's just perception that effects the values.
Pricing negotiations: Remember, if the dealer isn't crying - you're not buying... :-)

What be the deal with this? Looks to be RHD and a 2016 car?

Cheaper 2 WD version with quite a few miles for a 6 month old carhttp://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...
You can knock another 5k off that price. And apparently it's a Gallardo as well.
