Nice car - ambitious price
Discussion
Not sure he really wants to sell.
Way way over priced, at this money I would be buying other things.
Not as special as a Superleggera IMO.

Imagine if you spent £300K on a Gallardo....
1) Everyone would know without a shadow if doubt that you were a f**ing idiot.
2) Everyday you'd be sh*tting yourself that the market was going to tank and you'd lose £200K+ in 6 months...... unless money is no object and then of course this is the car for you.
3) Every time you drove it you'd have a serious case of buyers remorse.
I believe this advert right here marks the peak of the 'New Paradigm' - it's all downhill from here folks!

Interestingly both ads feature 1 photo, so no real intention to sell - just pushing up the Gallardo price stats. Also, a 'normal' LP550-2 is exactly the same as a Balboni, except for the badge and the stripe, so why not get a LP550-2 manual and save nearly 200k...dang2407 said:

I reckon a wonderful thing to own.
With so many so called Ltd edition cars coming on the market including Ferrari Speciales, Mc Lt's, 911 Gt3 R's etc I wonder if the market is having its last gasp before some kind of correction.
I've mentioned before I was looking for a Speciale probably 18months ago, at the time my local dealer had none and no sign of any coming thro. Forward a month or so ago a stock of 9no 458's 7 of which are Sp's . I'm guessing that's lots of owners trying to get out quick while prices are high!

I would agree with this, I know someone who works at a high end dealership that sells everything from 50k to a few million. Apparently it has slowed down a lot.I've mentioned before I was looking for a Speciale probably 18months ago, at the time my local dealer had none and no sign of any coming thro. Im looking at either a 570SL or 12c and hopefully can find a car before the end of summer, if not then I will miss some good driving but should on the other hand benefit from better pricing.
Id prefer the car now!

At least the Speciales and some of the others are different cars - the Balboni difference is just cosmetic. Having said that, the Balboni did come out first and then Lambo decided to add to the limited edition by producing 'std' LP550-2s - Does that remind us of any one else more recently... somewhere around Woking maybe... That price is laughable - but most prices being asked at the moment are. A VB Gallardo was £85k - £100k 2 years ago and that's pretty much what i'd pay for one today
I think the markets turning though? There's a huge glut of cars at silly money and they're not selling. Strads, 16M's, 996 GT3 RS's at £180k - all also ludricrous. Porsche 991 GT3's are dropping like a stone and i think you'll start to see prices plummet
