2004 Gallardo - W66 DAN - anyone knows this car?

Anyone knows more details about this car?

Today I went and see it. First impression, good car, but looking in detail has uncovered some problems:
• drive side wing and bonnet don't align properly, big gap in between:
• the driver side wing bolts are not OEM and they are rusted, really crappy job done by the body shop, could at least have used stainless steel ones and spray the body colour so you can't see it's been done, like on the other side:
driver side:
passenger side:
• there's a big bubbling patch on the bonnet, corrosion that needs to be sorted and as the bonnet and the front bumper are plastered in stone chips, it will be a front end respray and blending on the wings to match the colour properly, this could get expensive to be done properly
• driver side tail light has a fairly deep scratch on it, needs a good polish, but might not go even with a polish
• no service between February 2010 to March 2014, only 6k miles done, but best to have the service done every year, at least oil and filter, isn't it? there is also no service between March 2014 and June 2016,
• passenger side door handle it's a bit flimsy, a lot of movement in it and lots of chips on the corner
• there a major crack in the aluminium body, on the rear, where it meets the engine compartment
• needs a new battery, wouldn't start from 1st attempt, even if it was on charge over the weekend
• passenger side rear wheel is scuffed
• not a lot of history with the car, only 1 receipt with the last service, the stamp was not on the book though
• the H gate where the gear knob is it's also flimsy, it rattle and needs to be tighten with an allen key.
• stereo is not OEM, it's been replaced with an Alpine double DIN unit
• driver side, there are lots of dust speckles in the paint, even on the petrol cap, showing the car as been resprayed on that side
• another thing that put me off, I've specially requested that the car is not started today, as I want to hear it from cold start, when I arrived the engine was hot.
• PS line hasn't been replaced as far as I could see
I know the car is not brand new, but I was expecting the car to be as listed in the advert, immaculate. Am I being too fussy?
Verdict: walked away, did not even drove the car.

Yes, I know what you mean being thorough, I had to do as everything seemed too good to be true: full service history, 2 owners, immaculate etc.
I didn't mind the stone chips on the front bumper for instance, but the minute I've seen the gap in the panels and the dust speckles in the lacquer the whole side including on the fuel cap, the alarm was triggered and started to look in depth.
Considering all the issues highlighted, what would you think it's a fair price for this car?
In terms of mechanical and electrical issues what should I look for? I'm trying to avoid the E-gear version, would like a manual gearbox.
£70k is about the right price if the car was straight with a full comprehensive history I would have thought. I could even forgive the kerbed alloys and cracked light lens at that price given that the car is 12 years old.
I guess the true value depends on the story of what the car has been up to in the 4 years of missing service history (any clues in the MOT history website?), and also what's happened to it to necessitate panel repairs/replacement and why the body is cracked (that's not wear and tear).
Without this info, any savvy buyer (who's clever enough to spot these things) will assume the worst and value it accordingly. Sad thing is, someone will probably not notice these issues and pay the asking price for it.

MOT website doesn't recognise the car, strangely, this is the number on the V5 and on the last service invoice done by Belgravia.
I just remembered, the V5 was not the original paper, it was a printed colour version...
I've asked for the current number plate from the seller.
Congestion Charge recognises the car, MOT doesn't.

The plate is showing as being on a Bentley so could be why DVLA site not recognising it? : http://www.ukvehicle.com/W66DAN/,

There is a lot of overpriced rubbish around these days. In this market I'm sure quite a few people have bought tarted up lemons for top money not knowing the horrors that lurk underneath.

I was shocked to read in Evo this month that a large proportion of used Gallardos had been used as hire or track cars and were in a general poor state. The quote from Grimaldi Engineering stated that they thought up to 70% of cars on the used market were below par....sounds like a minefield.
If you look at the stats, there were 700-800 UK gallardos?
So "a large proportion" won't have been hire/track cars.
But as they age and fall in value, people buy them on a budget.
Inevitably expenditure is delayed.
Just means things get done in lumps rather than each year; either when they stop working or at the time of a change of ownership.

I would have thought £40-45k in that condition, but I'm no expert.
They never got that low unless written off. I went to see one of the cheapest straight uk cars advertised at £50K right at the bottom of the market a few years ago and that was far tattier than this black car.I would have thought £40-45k in that condition, but I'm no expert.

X100. You should see the condition of a lot of 'mint' Ferrari 355's too, all the ones I've seen have had milky windscreens and rotten radiator cores. Gallardos seem to be really ropey as well, corrosion commonplace, black paint flaking off the plenums, also some shockingly bad wheel refurbs. simonr100 said:

Well it might be special, but of all that are for sale under £70k are in this poor state, not going to waste cash on one! Most likely back to a 2014-2015 GTR. I'm seeing this one later this week, hopefully today or tomorrow:
