Not a clue. All that I can tell you is that the factory only fit Pirelli. The three fitments; P-Zero, P-Zero corsa asymmetrico and Sottozero S2, are all built with a Lambourghini/Pirelli specific sidewall stiffness. The special code is simply "L" and the "L" is moulded into the sidewall to identify the tyre.
I wonder if my P-Zeros have an L on them, I will take a look. Thanks for info

I put the Pilot Cup on mine as I was melting the Pirellis on track days, plus I found the Pirellis gave me under steer as their walls weren't up to it and pictures showed that they were virtually peeling back just short of rubbing the alloys.
So I find the Michelins give good balance although the ride is slightly harder and they last better not that tyre cost really comes in to the argument but they are cheaper than the L spec Pirellis.

Hi Juno, great choice of car. I had the 570SL which came with the P Zero Corsas. You can check with Lambo UK but I was told that if the tyres did not have the L marking the factory would dispute any warranty work associated with the AWD etc. so this may be of concern if you have any manufacturers warranty left. I note you say dry use only, but I bought a set of Sottozeros for the winter months and they were fantastic for lower temps and damp conditions in the UK. Nowhere near the ultimate grip of the Corsas but fun and predictable and a little bit squirmy, if that's a word, made it a true all year option and when you put the Corsas back on its such a revelation. Whichever way you go enjoy in good health!

I motor race too (currently importing a Lola F5000 from 1969) and was actually sponsored by Pirelli in my heady times and they were 1.5 seconds slower at Brands than Dunlops and 1 second off Michelins, felt very floaty to me as the walls were so flexible, the Astons and Lambos were blowing them out all the time but this was 8 years ago!! Pirelli to be fair gave me a couple of sets of different compounds at a technical testing as I was struggling with them but I never felt they had the same feel going in and tended to under steer at hard but fast turns, same as the L rated now. However the wets were a different story! They were amazing! Why don't you track the Lambo? It's great fun to pass all the race cars in a road car especially if you are a racing Licence holder!
Even Lamborghini have had me on track in my car as well as theirs and I've never had a warranty issue and actually I've had a few shared bills out of warranty. I've done 56,000 in mine, it's my every day car and it runs and runs, currently used by Lamborghini to sell cars as it's been cheaper and more reliable to run than my XK!
My road cars are garage queens unfortunately,i just use them sparingly in good weather but each time you get in it feels special and worthwhile, I would like to be a bit mor ruthless but just cant bring myself to do it Lol. This is the track car,Juno
Why don't you track the Lambo? It's great fun to pass all the race cars in a road car especially if you are a racing Licence holder!

I've never raced these aerodynamic machines but did some testing when Westfield brought one out! They look amazing and now they haven some real horsepower since the motorbike technology moved to car torque!! I neend horse power now I'm a fat bd so I'm not competitive below 500bhp as a rule of thumb!! :-)

This one has a Honda K2O wth a Hewland FTR Sequential box,its basically a formula 3 LMP car,I used to own a Westfield XTR2 as well Lol
