Don't think you'll regret it as the Gallardo is a fantastic drive...

If your F430 was an f1 then I'm fairly sure you'll prefer the manual Gallardo, I think the v10 sounds better, feels more solid & the 4 wheel drive means you can push it more in adverse weather...

I looked at 430 v Gallardo when changing my 360 and went for the LP in the end.

Yes after 11 years and 4 red Ferraris going back to a manual in black is a change .

I went from a 612 to a Gallardo E-Gear Spyder - loved it - both very different cars but the smiles per miles from the V10 in the Gallardo is priceless.

Are you the chap that bought it from Top 555 then? Who have incidentally just listed a red 430 spider? Or am I way off the mark?

The sound out of the V10 is raspy and lyrical, with an orchestral progression to its upper register that is tough to match. There aren't many other cars that tickle my senses like this one.

I miss that noise Perf drives a dream, but that shriek in the 5.0 end of rev range with the top down, oooo excuse me i just have to take a visit.....
