Rear of car gearbox tatty so i painted it.

I desided to spray the gearbox that is showing at the rear of the car as the paint was flaking off.
1. Removed all paint to expose bear metal
2. Washed with degreaser
3. Masked off (very well)
4. Three coats of grey metal primer (Halfords)
5. 5 coats of satin matt black metal paint (Halfords)

Like new again :-)

Good work Danbo... The tatty finish actually put me off buying a Gallardo when searching for mine

I had mine redone in the black wrinkle finish when the clutch was being replaced the other year.
Horrible if the paint is coming off.
