Looking to buy this car and already have a refundable deposit on it subject to inspection by myself and a mechanic.
Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge of the car .
I have not bought from Top555 before but heard good things about them so hoping it will be a decent car...

Top555 cars are usually the best quality/pedigree and very well prepared IMHO. Would have no issue with buying from them again

Top555 are just up the road from me and my Dad purchased an Aston Martin from there, heard nothing but good things about them and always been friendly when I've had a visit.

Only thing I notice with that car is the front bumper has different paint to the usual (no black on the insides of the front sections)? So has probably had paint (I guess most get front bumper painted due to stone chipping)...

That it does Russell.Green has always been my favorite colour closely followed by the orange.
Inspecting it tomorrow so just a tad excited now...
Quick update on the car.
Went and looked at the car with Dan Elmer of R3 Garage services and we were not disappointed.
The car was like new with all the main dealer stamps and history in place. Both myself and Dan test drove the car which did not disappoint.Suffice to say i PX'd my R8 with Tim at Top 555 who was a pleasure to deal with and runs a great business with some very clean cars and a lovely showroom.
The whole buying experience was faultless and Tim could not do enough and was in contact every step of the way and even made the two and a half hour trip down to mine to drop off the car and collect mine to save me the drive. Now that's service...
So just a big thank's to Tim and the team at Top 555 for the great service and the amazing car i now proudly keep in my garage.
Oh and not forgetting Dan who looks after me with anything car related :-)

That's a really clean looking replica, is it based on a MR2 with the 2 litre turbo engine as they go really well and have great mpg as a bonus, can I ask what body kit did they used on that one?

I live in the town where they're based, I am not unfortunately in the position to buy from there, but they are very friendly. And friends have bought from there and have said its the best buying experience they've ever had. SO smooth from start to finish, any issues post sale were quickly sorted too (paint chips etc).

You got a corker of a car - not sure if they had sold that one previously or not? But they had one in the colour previously and the noise that thing makes is just nuts! - How do you find the offset pedals and the rather tight pedal box? One thing I noted is you would need 'skinny' shoes to properly drive it as the pedal box seems so narrow!

Have you anything to report of your ownership experience of the car so far?
And any further comments about your experience with top555? smile

Hi Matt

I find the pedals ok.Drove my friends 355 last year and the pedals in them are a bit close and narrow trainers do make life easier.
As for my car yeah it is just crazy.I get other drivers on the road pulling over and waving me through and people just gawp mouths wide open lol.The sound is amazing too so yeah well pleased with it all round.
Top555 do give a great service and can't praise them enough.

Well its not exactly a car that makes a subtle entrance is it?
Bright Green, low and Sounds like a screaming banshee. The noise they make through tunnels is barbaric.... and they may just be a little quick too! Ive been in a green speciale - and people just gawp. The only thing I worry about is on the motorway/dual carriageway is people taking photos and drifting at xx-xxxmph into your lane!
