The previous owner of my car gave me a set of unused tyres, but looking at them I'm not sure if they are correct.

They are Pirelli P Zero 235/35 ZR19 91Y fronts and 295/30 ZR19 100Y rears. The car currently has P Zero Corsas.

Are these alternative tyres or am I going to need to sell them on and get another set?

Cheers smile

there was a thread on this at the time, long since lost in the great pistonheads thread reshuffle

the dealer specified "road tyres" on my order

from memory, corsas were the track/dry road-biased option at no extra cost

The corsa tyre is as andrew says the faster 'option', but much higher wear rate and worse wet grip....

suggest you also check the date code - 4 digits WWYY on the side of them - shows week number and year (last 2 digits), if they are over 5 years old I wouldn't fit them
