Oil Pressure Gauge

Hi, does anyone know what the correct pressure should be on a Gallardo? My oil level had droppped quite low and since it has been topped up, the engine is not idling properly. When I come to a standstill it revs a even though my foot is not on the accelerator. The oil pressure is at about 3 - I'm not sure if this okay?

Even if you have overfilled on top up it should idle properly..

Re pressure mine sits at 4 (midway on guage) at idle and goes up to 6 under load.

why's your car "under load" ?

Thanks, mine is sitting at between 2 and 3.5. Any ideas what might be causing that?

Given its a dry sump, oil pump not working properly? Under load, ie hard acceleration, does the pressure rise to 6?
