My LP560 is due for its sixth annual service and has done around 7K miles. So far I have followed the factory minor/major alternating years service schedule. Now that it is out of warranty is there much point in having the major service done so often with such a low mileage? As long as all the fluids (oil, brake, coolant) are changed on schedule what should I be concerned about if I do the major service less often?

exactly what I do and what Mike Pullen suggested I do. Car is in tip top condition as a result and it's 8 years old now.

this is a good read.... all oils degrade irrespective of miles.... so first question is what gets changed in 6 year service thats special... think all the diff oils are changed in 4th year

secondly, 7k miles of hard use is different to 30k miles on a motorway

finally, why not use an indie such as backdraft/bhp... much cheaper... now warranty not an issue
