Aftermarket discs and pads 2012 G

I would expect so. The non-LP Gallardo will take Audi discs and there are a couple of aftermarket pads you can use (think EBC & Mintex). I don't know if the LP has larger discs though...
I'm on an LP560 2012, I'm not a brake specialist so am unsure but have been told by some that oem is the best and by others that aftermarket is best but would like to know if anyone has done this and what they found.Hi
I got these a few years back , great quality and they do pinch up better than stock .
They look nice and shiny as well the fronts are huge so the callipers needed shims and longer bolts .

Alright Dave? I think you can but for some reason from memory you would need to do something so it's not a simple straight swap. But why would you want to do that ? (Not you but other post). After driving both the CC are light years ahead of the steels. Admittedly once warmed up mind. They weren't a £10K option for no reason.Proofy and you mate .

This argument comes up every six months. There is 'apparently' no weight advantage and reviews at release were largely negative toward the CCBs fitted to the Gallardo - it is first generation tech and not comparable to those fitted on other marques either then or now. This provides some choice quotes from reviewers:

Each to their own though.

All I can say is I drove 2 cars back to back from a dealer. One with standard steel discs and other with CCs.This provides some choice quotes from reviewers:

The difference was like night and day. The same noticable difference with one of my bikes which has carbon discs.
I haven't weighed a steel disc tbh, but when changing the s/s bolts over on mine I can also tell you without a shadow of a doubt it is much lighter than it's steel equiv. Plus, they last much longer, don't rust, hardly no brake dust and it's not corrosive too. What's not to like about them? Seems a no brainer to me...
