Hi,
I have been looking for a Gallardo for a while now, this will be my first lambo, I think I have found one that ticks just about all the boxes, it is going to a Lambo main dealer on Thursday for its yearly service and inspection, hence the title!
When Im there I have requested the dealer allow me to view the car and ask questions which they have confirmed is ok, I was wondering if there is anything I should specifically be asking the Lambo technician when Im there, as i'm new to the brand are there any underlining issues i should be looking at, its an 07 sypder.
Also been looking to find out how many gallardo's were actually imported to the UK, cant seem to find a figure on the net?, just interested if anyone can answer.
Looking forward to Thursday now, I havent been this excited since buying first car, i feel like a kid again.
Any/All help appreciated.

Thank you, Im not celebrating just yet, Ill wait till Thursday before that.
I've gone for white, theres something about the white ones, e gear, lifting equipment, camera, bluetooth, branding kit and few other options.
It drove lovely on the test drive, and everything seemed in order, and the car is in great condition, furthermore I have little dose of OCD and it will look immaculate by the time i've finished with it.
If all goes well looking forward to getting involved with a few other like minded PH'ers

I've seen your name flying around here for a while, I've had 2 main dealers check the history and all has been confirmed, this is the 7th service and right on time, so I'm confident all is well.
I'll be all over the tech on Thursday, haha,
around 10% of the 14k cars made it to the uk : many subsequently got exported
clutch life is entirely dependent on how you drive it, and is no worse than comparable cars
technicians can easily read-off clutch wear plus miles done in each gear : an interesting indication as to where the car's spent its time
if anything arises on the inspection, get it costed accurately !

'07 was the year they modified the gear actuator. The earlier units can be troublesome. Early signs of failure are dropping into neutral from 1st and 2nd when hot. This is often misdiagnosed as a worn clutch as there are no fault codes generated. Make sure they thoroughly check system pressure, when hot, selecting 1st and 2nd with the engine off/ignition on...

I've done my fair share of research, so am well aware of the clutch reading, that's the first thing I was going to ask for, wasn't aware of the gear actuator issue though, I will be asking about that !!
