Where now for Performante prices?
Discussion
I'm seriously considering swapping my lovely Aston Vantage S Roadster for a Gallardo. I had hoped this Vantage would effectively replace two of my previous cars - a F355 GTS as my 'supercar' and a Vantage coupe which was one of my daily work cars. In fact it falls down between the two - being a bit too flash as an occasional work car (not helped by it being pearlescent white!)and not feeling enough of a supercar to replace the Ferrari. My preference would be for a two wheel drive convertible Gallardo, but I'm not even sure any were made. Failing that I think the Performante looks and sounds amazing. I was hoping to see this one at HR Owen on Friday but gather it was sold yesterday:

Compared to the only other one on Autotrader it seemed like a good price at £135k. Even after reading through many of the posts on here I'm not sure how many Performantes there are in the UK and just wondered what your best guess would be of prices in the depths of this winter and then maybe in 3 years time when I may consider selling...? I would be happy to buy a car with above average mileage as I would no doubt bring the average down. If anyone is considering selling theirs (ideally below the HR Owen price) then please let me know.

Sorry to disappoint boys but after my full time job I was at football tonight.
Anyway I don't want to be drawn on the subject any further as you can see the price rises of these cars since I bought mine for yourselves but IMHO although higher mileage the orange HR Owen car seems a bargain to me but then again its not an Edizione Tecnica.
Just to prove I'm not biased Scuderia prices also seem to be on the rise since I purchased one.
If anyone wants to know what I'm eyeing up next for my appreciating collection you can pm me but no warranties or guarantees implied or given, just free advice lol

Thanks. Sadly the only one in my price range (and in my preferred colour of orange) has now sold. I'm not sure I could spend £85k on a fake one either, cheaper in the short term but I would imagine a nightmare to sell in the future (particularly if it is recorded as damaged) and I expect the future potential appreciation of a real one would make it a safer ownership prospect - and more rewarding on every level!

you should make an offer on the others as they are slow movers but definitely great cars!I am interested in this question too. Given the pricing of the equivalent Ferrari models it makes me wonder how well the Performante/Superleggera will hold up from this point onwards.
There was a white Edinburgh based Performante used for driving experiences so if anyone is interested in the one for sale at George McKay I would double check its history.

Cheap? At £160k it's £25k more than the orange one I was interested in!
How have other special editions of Lamborghinis fared price wise in the past? Ferraris seem to appreciate dramatically over time, not so sure that these will follow suit?
Lets just say I got ahead of myself there. It WILL BE cheap is maybe the words I was looking for.How have other special editions of Lamborghinis fared price wise in the past? Ferraris seem to appreciate dramatically over time, not so sure that these will follow suit?
