LP 560/570 exhaust valves
Discussion
In the engine bay looking from the drivers side behind the coolant expansion tank and the air box towards the rear of the car, there is a black solenoid attached to the chassis with small rubber hoses connecting to it on either sideband one underneath
The two hoses either side travel to the exhaust valves themselves, whereas on the bottom of the solenoid there is another much shorter rubber hose which leads to the vacuum tank. You want to pull off the bottom hose from the plastic t-peice so that it is attached to the solenoid but not to the plastic t-peice
You now have the black solenoid with three rubber hoses attached (one either side and one on the bottom) the bottom hose with me attached to nothing and effectively be acting as an air leak so you need to plug it with an appropriate sized screw, too small and it will still leak and possibly fall out, too big and it will split the hose and then have an air leak[url]
