Why hasn't this sold?
Discussion
Appreciate that without seeing it in the flesh it's hard possibly to tell, but taken based on the ad is it simply down to mileage?

Seems to be good spec with good history and TBH I don't think that mileage ( 4,000 pa ) is an issue for a Lamborghini that's been properly maintained.
If you are looking for a yellow manual its worth a look IMHO
Is it that the really big 30k service could be due?If you are looking for a yellow manual its worth a look IMHO

Anyone know the dealer?

In that case what do you think it should be?
+12007, clear engine bay, sat nav, manual, callisto's, 1 owner, FLSH for £69k?? Seems a bargain considering a lot of the 53/04 early cars with lesser spec are still being touted for circa £60k with the same or higher mileage...
May be it's the dealer? May be in the flesh it's a dog??

You need to go and see it and talk to the dealer if its under serious consideration and if it all checks out I'm sure you can negotiate a deal including the cost of a big service/tyres etc... being due.Anyone know the dealer?
Don't think the price or mileage would put me off if it checks out and you specifically want a yellow manual car. The bottom end of the Lambo market is still strong and being a manual will only help its cause due to rarity if you decide to move it on in a couple of years. Could be relatively cheap motoring for a supercar and probably cheaper than your regular new audi or bmw

Thanks for the feedback. At the moment I'm gaining info on a future purchase, on the face of it it seems what I want and I was surprised, mileage aside that it hadn't sold. It seems to have the spec and lairy colours seem less of an issue on these?Don't think the price or mileage would put me off if it checks out and you specifically want a yellow manual car. If its got a full main dealer history likely a major was done between year 4 as indicated or by now at least....Anyone know the dealer?
R u sure it is still for sale, many cars are advertised but long since sold, others are sold before they are even advertised....
Only reasons I can think of are miles or fact it is a manual.... Though e gears are blasted, manuals sell slower and cheaper....

manuals often take forever to sell : it's a tiny minority of people who actually buy manualhttp://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

It's amazing how most people have been brought up to desire the Lambo/Ferrari open gate clic-clack of a manual, I was one, but once you've been in a modern E-gear/F1 car, it makes manual feel very old fashioned, not to mention the blips on downshifting! With regards to this car I would guess that it's either the dealer or the condition of the car because everything else seems to be ideal, there certainly aren't any better spec cars for sale for less that I've seen.
Most supercars are slow movers just look at the number of Mac's and 458's that have been advertised for months going on years.
A yellow manual 07 Gallardo at £70k is a very niche market for many reasons but it only takes 1 person to turn up at the right time and it will be sold.
The last 2 cars I've bought I've pitched up to the dealer to buy 1 car and then seen another they have just taken in and not even advertised and bought that one instead.
A lot of it is down to luck, timing and maybe fate

journo's are obsessed with slick auto boxes, so manuals are nolonger desired.... personally, the older a car you get, the safer a manual.... less to go wrong, so smaller potential repair bills.... if you enjoy manuals, and are not interested in lap times, get a manual, they are good boxes....

I think the mileage is quite off-putting. For a couple of grand more you can get one with a third of that mileage. Usually if a decent car doesn't sell for a long period of time, it's overpriced. Well thats my experience anyway. Spindoctor said:
