3 Lap Times, 2 Records: The Gallardo SC is no joke
Discussion
Yep, people actually made fun of this car when it was announced. I can't believe the times it's posting.

If a 10 year G can whip their arses the new Huracan is going to be the new benchmark in supercars
I suppose someone will have a crack at the ring in one once the weather warms up. Only 50 made worldwide though.
The slicks/semi-slicks question is a good one, I don't know what they used on those times. On the Super-Trofeo special edition laptime at Fuji, they used both (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dORxB2UxjeA).
Here is the piece on the SC at Bolloco and the in-car video: http://www.auto.it/2013/10/21/la-lamborghini-galla...
"I don’t think I’ve driven a faster car between two points than the Squadra Corse."

what's the rationale behind giving the engine cover and wing a smooth black finish : it clashes with the carbonfibre down below, and looks like fibreglass !
I agree, would look slightly better with the engine cover in a carbon fibre finish, but in person It blew me away even in red what's the rationale behind giving the engine cover and wing a smooth black finish : it clashes with the carbonfibre down below, and looks like fibreglass !

Red Lambos are rarer and faster

Parked mine in a big open car park by itself on sunday and their were literally queues of people looking at it. It was just like bees round a honey pot.
The problem was it was Budleigh Salterton so when I started her up half of them died of a heart attack.
