The biggest prob for the new car imv is the LP700, much to close on price,I would expect a flat trade by the time the new car hits the streets, agonist a 13 reg LP700....no comparison in my view.

A, I never doubted that it had the above as SE, Spec for spec its 7k more than a new 12C, it will be 70k to swop from a 570/4SP,

Got £160k to spend and was thinking Ferrari Challenge Stradale as a possibility after all the hype that surrounds them - Maybe worth looking at a Superleggera then ?So in 2 years time when a lightweight convertible may be available its going to be conservatively £230k and maybe £250k in Huracan form.

Don't get me started on the CS, its a lovely car but no way can it compete in that competition. Overhyped and way overpriced IMHO and there are far better cars for less money. You would also be buying in at the peak of the market and they are due a price correction. If you decide to have one I suggest LHD is the way to go circa £100k

so very true....I had a launch 360 in 99, one of the yellow ones, kept it till the CS came out in 03...Brought 2 one to keep one to run, sold em both after a month..no faster than the normal car, just a lot of noise..IMV.
The 570/4/SP.SP, much better...maybe the best sounding engine out side F1.....pre turbo
You all be careful about what you say about the CS as their owners are sensitive souls. They will be all over this thread slagging off Lambo's and hurling personal insults and abusive language at you in an attempt to bully you off the site.

I well recall taking my 360 in for the part ex, collecting the CS, and driving it back to the dealer within an hr, thought something was wrong with it sooooo slow, just a lot of noise......430 Scud much better car in my view....I think they have grandeurs of their status and their ego's are nearly as over inflated as their cars prices
The thing is, in these categories you will almost always get better cars as the newer models come in.
I wouldn't spend huge amounts on a 360 no matter what type it is. It's a great car but I'm not sure will ever return a value for futures.
If you want old classic you can still pick up excellent Lancia Integrales in Greece for less than 15,000 which is a far better buy and will increase for sure.
As for modern cars, they are all good. None of them make bad cars and with Audi investment the Lamborghini models have somehow managed to integrate daily driving into supercar so I'm looking forward to the hurrican arrival.
I still wouldn't buy one at launch though as I prefer cabs.
I think we are in an era when we have awesome choice with all of the supercar makers offering quality vehicles that are not replicas of each other. So many choices to suit all tastes.
